The 31” Connor O'Leary is suited to teen to adult surfers 5'3’ – 5'7". The 31” Connor has a shallow concave and is suited to surfers who wish to pump and generate speed on flat sections.

The 31" Connor O'Leary model is a scaled down version of his 34" pro model board. SmoothStar inverted the graphic colours making it distinctly different to that larger model that was built around the 6'2" Connor's surf stance.

The 31" smaller size gives frothing groms and surfers of smaller heights the ability to ride Connor's model. The Connor O'Leary model also comes with medium wheels on the front and back.

The 31" Connor O'Leary Pro model comes with the new SmoothStar Thruster D technology. The Thruster D is the latest in precision engineering that gives surfers the ultimate surf feeling with 15-12% more hold and drive through your surf turns. It's also lighter and comes with a 5 year warranty

Connor O'Leary is a WSL world tour surfer who finished 2022 in 9th position. He is born and raised in Cronulla (Sydney, Australia) but represents both Japan and Australia while competing. Standing at 6'2" and a goofy foot, he throws some serious spray and is known to have one of the best backhand surfing attacks in the world. He is best know for training and putting 110% in and out of the water. He's an all round nice guy and has plenty of time for the groms and big groms.

What is the difference between the 31" Connor O'Leary THD and 31" Toledo THD?

Apart from the outline shape of the board, there are almost no differences between these two model. They have the same wheelbase and the same wheel thickness. The both are suited to teens to smaller height adults.

What is the difference between the 31" Johanne Defay THD and 31" Connor O'Leary THD?

The Johanne Defay model has deeper concave and the Connor O'Leary is a flatter deck. A flatter deck generally feels faster but a deck with concave has more push and hold through turns. Concave decks feel really good when you ride with barefoot, just like surfing.
